Tuning Stability + Bending Range + Low String Action.

The neck is one piece of rock maple, carbon-fiber re-inforced, with a Stewart Macdonald truss rod. The cocobolo fingerboard is shaped with a compound radius starting at a 7.25" transitioning to a 20" radius. The Stainless steel frets are superglued in place during installation. The neck profile is carved by hand to a segment of a circle.

The body wood is unstained swamp ash. The neck is stained with a very strong pot of Red Rose orange pekoe tea (an old wood worker's trick to make newer wood look older).

The high gloss body finish consists of multiple coats of shellac, a pore-filler called Z-poxy, and a lacquer that is very similar to nitrocellulose but slightly more durable. The neck is finished similarly to a satin sheen.

A Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro II in the neck position, a Vintage '59 in the bridge position with a master volume, master tone, a blend control and a coil splitter.
