Warranty

My success as a Luthier is dependent on 100% customer satisfaction. Upon receiving the guitar, you will have 7 days to examine your purchase. If the guitar does not meet your approval, I will refund the purchase price (minus shipping fees) provided the instrument is returned in its original condition.

STG Limited Warranty: Guitars built by Sean Thompson are covered by a limited warranty to the original purchaser during the working life of the builder against defective materials or workmanship. Upon notice of any defect, Sean Thompson Guitarworks will at his discretion, repair or replace any defective part or material. Instruments returned for warranty repair must be shipped pre-paid and will be returned collect postage.

This Warranty is extended to the original retail purchaser only and may not be transferred to subsequent owners. Proof of purchase must accompany requests for warranty coverage.

The following items are not covered by this warranty:
1. Fret wear, saddle wear, nut wear, strings.
2. Setups, adjustments or routine maintenance of any kind.
3. Damage to finishes or cracks, splitting, or warpage of wood due to changes in temperature or humidity, exposure to or contact with sun, fire, moisture, body salts and acids of perspiration, guitar straps, guitar stands/hangers made from vinyl, plastic, rubber or other synthetic materials, any other chemicals or non-approved polishes.
4. Damage, corrosion or rusting of any hardware components caused by humidity, salty air, or exposure to the moisture, body salts and acids of perspiration.
5. Normal wear and tear on any part of the instrument, including jacks, controls, switches, plated surfaces, tuning machines,
6. All other damage and deterioration due to normal usage, wear and tear, guitar picking aging, accidents, neglect, abuse, or Acts of Nature.
7. The subjective issue of tonal characteristics.
8. Shipping damages of any kind.
9. Cracking, discoloration or damage of any sort to the finish or plating for any reason.
10. Any instrument that has been damaged due to misuse, negligence, accident, or improper operation.
11. Any instrument purchased from anyone other than an Authorized Sean Thompson Guitarworks Dealer.
12. Instruments that have been serviced by unauthorized persons (any person other than a STGuitarworks Certified Technician)

Sean Thompson Guitarworks assumes no liability neither for property damage resulting from failure of this product nor for any loss of income, satisfaction, or damages arising from the loss of use of same due to defects or availability of same during service.
